Getting Started

All parents are welcome and encouraged to visit the Center prior to enrollment. All enrollment and Immunization records are required before a child may attend the Center. A signed physician’s statement and Health History Record is required within 2 weeks of admission. This information must be on file for all children attending the Center.

Each child between the ages of 3 months and 5 years of age is evaluated in the Fall and again in the Spring. Teacher are given a list of specific skills to be taught to a specific age group in the areas of Language, Reading Readiness, Math Readiness, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Self-Help, and Social skills. Children are evaluated on these skills in the Fall to determine specific strengths and weaknesses for each child and group of children. In this way a teacher can better modify the curriculum to the specific needs of the children in her class. Children are re-evaluated in the exact same way in the Spring as in the Fall so as to assess their progress and to be accountable for what each child is being taught at the Center. Parents are able to schedule a conference with the child’s teacher of the Director to discuss each evaluation and to ask questions.

Tuition fees are due on Monday, in advance for the week. On Tuesday, an $18.00 late fee will be charged and for each day thereafter that the tuition is not paid. If parents pay semi-monthly, tuition is due on the 1st and 15th of each month.
